Nathan Topitzhofer, BHT
Program Director

Nathan hails from the great state of Minnesota and is a committed member in the recovery community in Prescott. He has been blessed to work in the treatment field since August of 2013 and has worked in the roles of residential technician, client advocate, group facilitator, and is currently Reflection’s residential director and aftercare counselor.

Nathan’s passion for long-term treatment comes from his own experience of battling addiction for many years, after having limited success in 28 day programs. His addiction progressed rapidly and his life had become unmanageable.

Chris came to Prescott, Arizona to complete a long-term treatment program. He is a firm believer that Alcoholics Anonymous, the 12 steps and going through a high quality of treatment saved his life. He will forever be grateful that recovery taught him how to change his life in a way that he never dreamed possible. Chris handles outreach as well as admissions for Reflections Recovery Center and says that he could not be more thankful for the privilege of working in the field that saved his life.

That includes developing an alcohol and drug free lifestyle, and tools for maintaining sustainability. Dr. Smyly’s personal philosophy is when desire becomes equal to or greater than the necessity for change, then change becomes possible.
